UCV500G is a high-performance low cost digital camera with Global Shutter and ISP on board provides unique combinations of speed, resolution, image quality and sensitivity to satisfy the demands of today's imaging applications. UCV series camera is a UVC device, USB video device class (also USB video class or UVC), a USB device class that describes devices capable of streaming video.

• High sensitivity are achieved through the adoption of Aptina DigitalClarity® & Sony Exmor sensors and it’s on board hardware ISP (Image Signal Processor) produces high dynamic range and sharper image besides increasing the frame rate by output high quality MJPEG at 5MP 20FPS on USB2.0, which can only realize by USB3.0.

Advantages of global shutter include:

1. Better image quality: Global shutter cameras capture the entire image at the same time, which can result in higher image quality compared to rolling shutter cameras.

2. Less distortion of fast-moving objects: Because the entire image is captured at the same time, global shutter cameras are less likely to produce distortions in images of fast-moving objects compared to rolling shutter cameras.

3. Ability to capture high-speed events: Global shutter cameras can capture high-speed events with greater accuracy, as the entire image is captured at the same time.
